Description

Susan Mallery welcomes you to Happily Inc, where true love isn’t just for fairy tales....

Natalie Kaleta will do anything for the artists at her gallery, including risk life, limb, and the effect of humidity on her naturally curly hair. Braving a downpour to check on reclusive Ronan Mitchell, Natalie gets stranded by a mudslide at his mountain home, where the brooding glass artist reveals his playful side, sending her inconvenient crush from under the radar to over the top.

After a secret tore apart his family and made him question his sense of self, Ronan fled his hometown for Happily Inc, but the sunny small town can’t fix his damaged heart. He won’t give in to his attraction for beautiful, perpetually cheerful Natalie. She’s untouched by darkness - or so he thinks.

Natalie knows that when a heart goes through the flame, it comes out stronger. Life may not be a fairy tale, but sometimes dreams do come true. Why not this one? Why not tonight?

Another awesome performance! by Susan Mallery

My audiable library is becoming more and more full with Susan Mallery’s books! This story like many others that she has written shows such diversity in telling of characters and their stories that are unique and yet part of many readers lives also. It’s always such a pleasure to me that when a book is part of a series waiting for the next book to come out and then finding the joy of the continuation of what is the extraordinary writing of this author! This is why I rate this book and many others she has written five stars!

Life's moments

A good depiction of a developing relationship, complete with friends, family, problems, and warm personal growth. But with a light atmosphere of close connections and supportive people enjoying life.
The reader made this story come to life by voicing the many appropriate emotions and intonations of various characters. In fact I think she made it more than it might have been if read by someone else, and actually more than if read as a print version.

Just simply awesome!

I loved Natalie and Ronan’s story! I love the way that he dealt with his demons and how she hung in there to let him know that he was worthy of her love.

Natalie Beards the Dragon, or Something Like That.

I want to move to Happily, Inc., where every ending is a HEA! This is Natalie and Ronan's story. Poor Ronan can't get over the fact that the woman he thought was his mother until about a year ago is not his biological mother and she was lying to him the whole time. He also doesn't believe he deserves someone as untouched by tragedy as Natalie. Natalie can't understand why he is willing to walk away from his relationships with his family members when she has no family! Find out how they resolve their differences and triumph over their tragedies. I pretty much listened to this every available minute!

Another great story

Susan Mallory continues to delight in her Happily Inc. series. I loved Natalie, her love for life and the way she took Ronan to task for throwing away what he had. Finding their future together was sweet and happy. Tanya Eby did her usual stellar job with the storytelling.

All that you expect from Susan Mallery!

I love Susan Mallery’s books and the towns and characters she creates! This is another great addition. I gave it four stars simply because I only give 5 stars to books that are profound or life changing in some way, not because they are short on entertainment value. This was a very entertaining read. I enjoyed the “meet cute” at the beginning of the novel and I found it interesting how Ronan had to finally deal with the rift between him and his adoptive mother. Natalie was also a character I related to because I too am an artist working to make a full time living at it. I appreciated the extended metaphor of a “ruined” piece of art and how determination and positive attitude can turn something ruined into something even more beautiful. I also love Tanya Eby (the narrator who reads all of Mallery’s books for audible). She’s very easy to listen to and has so much warmth in her voice.
