Now she has returned home, wanting to make amends, and finds her sister bitter and angry. This engrossing story is filled with surprising twists. Themes of love, redemption, and faith are strong. Narrator Jill Shellabarger capably distinguishes characters and dramatizes a variety of emotions. Especially vivid are the passages of weeping. Her rich voice brings a heartfelt response from the listener. The combination of author and narrator is terrific."
