Some people appear to get all the breaks while others barely eke out an existence. Some have everything handed to them on a silver platter or are gifted with beauty, stature, health, wealth, intelligence, talent, ease, and comfort. Why were they so generously blessed, while others weren’t?

Some live in unbearable situations. They are abused, crippled, suffer the terrors of war, child trafficking, illness, addiction, poverty, homelessness, imprisonment, etc. Heartbreak, conflict, devastation and loss overshadow many lives. Billions of others live a mixed bag of daily challenges, mediocrity, and often, meaninglessness.

Was God having a bad day when these difficult circumstances were handed out? No, it’s not God we have to reproach for our fate. It's Karma, The Spiritual Law of Cause and Effect.

Sayings such as “What goes around comes around” ~ “Payback time!” ~ “Karma’s a bitch!” ~ “You’ll get yours!” ~ “The Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”~ the Biblical “A man reaps what he sows” suggest a kind of universal return~to~sender mechanism, though one not always evident in the present.
