I’m Cameron McGregor, center for the Austin Amurs. Tripping is my penalty. I don’t set out to do it, but it still lands me two minutes in the box every time.
Hockey is my life blood. I eat, sleep, and bleed hockey. Being chosen to play for the Amurs was a dream come true. Money, hockey, and women. I didn’t need anything else.

She hated hockey players, but I didn’t care—come hell or high water, I was going to change her mind. I had her convinced to let me in before I messed up. It looked bad; I can’t lie. Then, instead of fixing it, I made it worse. Now I have to find a way to get her back.
