    The most important read of my life to date. The insights this book offered are invaluable tools that have already become pivotal in the way I view myself, unfolding and resolving past experiences, and my perspective on others.     This was the worst part.

    This was the worst part. Knowing something was deeply wrong, trying to leave, then running back, begging to fix things, believing it was all my fault because I couldn't put my finger entirely on what was happening, feeling confused, addicted, and something like love that, looking back, was really corrosive. I was so trauma bonded he didn't even have to hoover me; I did all the work for him.

    Good Starter book

    5 years of trauma bond... Finally coming out of this relationship... It's good so see so many people like me... Let's heal together... We will heal.. We will make it one day... Don't stop!

    Trauma bonding so well explained.

    Trauma bonding so well explained. Felt it all... I was still really confused and tried explaining there was a whole push and pull not simply "triggered" thats why I didnt walk away... and a aquiantance said I was crazy, I should calm down, and should "get help", and stop talking about it. ... some clueless people.

    This is a fun book.

    I feel so sad all this happened to me. I cant believe the person I thought of as my best friend and soulmate who I gave my all for for years just used and abused me.

    It is changing my life.

    This is a must-read for anyone who has experienced personal trauma in their lives. And for our well-adjusted friends, it's good to understand and experience compassion for others. I highly recommend this book. It is changing my life.

    Amazing!

    That was me!! He put me through the ringer, got me arrested . Im good now... i just cant stop thinking i how bad i want to rub it in his face of how blessed i am truly am now away from in him.

    Very Informative book

    It’s an interesting perspective on how we can help to heal ourselves by understanding how our very basic brain functioning was affected by trauma at a young age, how the mind dissociates in order to protect itself, but then later on problems ensue.

    Good one book

    This book is a must-read for every person, and especially every therapist. I took notes the whole way through because the research and topics are so compelling. I've already gone back to my notes to help explain some of the content to friends and family.
