Struggling actor Adam Jacobsen was ready to pack up and leave Hollywood when a stranger gave him the encouragement he needed. Five years later, he’s made it, and when he wins his first major award, he dedicates it to the man who said “It could be you.”

Brian Stewart is stunned by the acceptance speech, and so are Adam’s fans. Immediately, both men find themselves swept up in a media frenzy. Everyone wants to know the man who gave Adam that much-needed boost - including Adam. When the guys finally meet again, a single talk show appearance isn’t enough. Before long, they’re flying to see each other at every opportunity.

But Adam’s career means living in a fishbowl. When word gets out that America’s biggest crush has a new boyfriend, the press and the public descends on Brian. Adam can’t protect him. Brian can’t handle the constant attention.

And something has to give before fame costs each man the love of his life.

Good Read

This is a fairytale Romance. No great scandal. PLENTY of explicit love scenes, and the villian?? well the evil villain is the paparazzi.
I found myself yelling at the speaker, wanting to shake some sense into Bryan. All together, this is a feel good book set in todays hectic world of our precious Hollywood royalty.
The story gives an inside look at how we bombard celebrities and rob them of their privacy.
The moral here is simple, but sums up the secret to happiness.
" It doesnt matter what anyone else thinks, choose a life that makes YOU happy. "
This story begins and ends with nothing left to desire. I found myself settled with the ending, not needing a sequel. After all, Happily Ever After is all we really need, right?
You will not regret this purchase.
I'm glad I read this, and will read this author again. The narration was done as well as the book. There are many selections from both, and one of those will be my next purchase.

Love in the limelight...

...is never easy and it’s never private.

I loved the beginning of this book, I was hooked from the start. We meet Adam, a struggling actor working at a diner. He’s on the brink of giving up, quit his job and go back to his hometown. He actually had the resignation notice all written up and in his back pocket, but first he needs to get through the day, and he just messed up another order – this one for a cute guy he’d love to take out. Only he thinks the man is out of his league and resigns himself to look from afar.

On the other side of that encounter we have Brian, who’s equally taken with his server. Though not brave enough to ask him out. He does ask for an autograph, stating that many up and coming actors start out in the service industry, and who knew – Adam could be the next big star. Adam signs the book and they part ways.

Fast forward five years and Adam is receiving a major acting reward. In his speech he thanks the unknown man who gave him the courage to try, to go on. The man he didn’t even know the name of. A man he’d love to meet again. Brian sees the speech and reaches out, agreeing to meet. This part I loved, and loved a lot. It was filled with emotion, I connected with it. In short I was hooked.

Adam and Brian start talking with each other, actual meetings are difficult seeing as they live in different cities, but they manage to keep in touch and get to know each other. Then feelings develop and they become something more.

The story is one with very little angst, there is some drama especially in regards to Adam’s fame. There were a few things that didn’t quite work for me though. I didn't believe in Adam's virginity. Not that I don't believe that there are 28 year old virgins, that part I was fine with. But call me cynical, but a Hollywood movie star and virgin, sorry but no sell.

Like I said in earlier, I loved the beginning of this book, couldn’t wait to know more. But then that all changed. When Adam and Brian finally get together my attention goes out the drain. It turned into too much on page sex. It grew tedious. It wasn't that it was eon long sex scenes, but they were, what it felt like, every few minutes. I want something more than smut in my books. I do know that this is my own personal preference and many readers that do enjoy a lot of smut in their books – so you guys might want to have a look at this book ;)

As far as the narration goes; Michael Ferraiuolo (a last name that I probably won’t ever learn how to spell) did a fantastic job. He captured the characters and their personalities and emotions just right. He brought them to life, with their insecurities, hopes and dreams, and let's not forget the passion. It was all there in his voice. He once again delivered a narration that took you away, this time to Hollywood, which isn’t as glamourous at it might seem from afar.
