Thomas may look like your normal 14-year-old boy—one who attends a Galactic High School, competes with other boys for the attention of girls, and plays sports such as the extremely popular and very dangerous cyclone surfing. But that's not him at all.

You see, Thomas is a Sentinel, and Sentinels are very rare half-bloods; half-Seraphic (angel) DNA and half their mothers’ DNA. Sentinels are born to protect the galaxy in case the demonic race known as the Nefarious ever escape their prison in Hell called The Void. When a Sentinel begins to manifest powers such as feats of strength, telepathy, above-average speed, and in some exceedingly rare cases, precognition, they get to start the infamous Savior Training.

Thomas has been in Savior Training since he was five years old. Since then, his powers have grown, and he's excelled in his training. When his Sanctuary comes under attack by an organization known as The Marked, Thomas, his mother, and his trainer have to escape from their planet and journey the galaxy in order to find the first of four Seraphic Tests that he must complete in order to awaken his full power.
