The film's narrative revolves around a brilliant scientist unraveling the existence of a peculiar parasite dwelling within humans, christened the "tingler". This minuscule entity thrives on fear, inducing a spine-tingling sensation in its host whenever terror strikes.
Dr. Warren Chapin, a dedicated pathologist, unearths the truth behind the spine-tingling phenomenon, attributing it to the growth of a peculiar creature residing within every human—an aptly named "tingler". This parasitic entity attaches itself to the spinal cord, coiling, feeding, and gaining strength in response to fear, capable of rendering its host immobile by constricting the spine. Only the piercing release of a scream can thwart its deadly embrace.
Transporting us to the year 2023, in the enigmatic town of Raven’s Hollow, this novel propels us into a future still haunted by the echoes of events that transpired over half a century ago.
