At first I had troubles understanding who was who, but then I just dived into the story and its many roads, and fine characters

A good, light crime novel with a touch of humour. Well narrated. BUT I must say I don’t understand why the narrator read the lines of the character Bogdan in such an awful way. Do people in the UK still think that Poles sound like a STEREOTYPICAL drunk from the old Eastern Bloc? As a Polish woman, I couldn’t listen to it and felt rather offended by this interpretation.

The story is funny, recomforting, with smart humor and with an amazingly rich vocabulary. The characters are very complete. It was a pleaure to listen to the book
