Emelin, from the village of Olam, is eleven years old and has a mind of her own, thank you very much. After a strange visit from the Tooth, she and her best friend Frank are sent on a grand adventure to stop the Dark and Evil Being from doing a terrible something. However, this is ridiculous and can’t possibly be true because Emelin writes her own story, and no one is going to tell her otherwise.
