Summary
THE BEGINNING OF THE END For centuries, the province of Dulgath has enjoyed inexplicably perfect weather. Few know the reason: a benevolent guardian who moderates the climate and heals the sick and injured. But three extraordinary events on a single day signal changes in the air: an unprecedented storm, the unexpected visit from the Nyphron Church, and a suspicious shipwreck with a lone survivor. The Golrok approaches, bringing chaos to all of Elan, and Dulgath will be the site of the opening salvo. Enter The Storm, a short story and the first tale of The Elan Sagas grand finale, a conclusion more than twenty years in the making. The Cycle is the sixth and final series based in Elan. The first novel is slated for release in 2028, but we are pre-releasing short stories through standalone editions. EXPERIENCE THE ENTIRE ELAN SAGA: - The Riyria Revelations: 6 books (completed) - The Riyria Chronicles: 6 books (5 released, 1 written and coming in 2027) - Legends of the First Empire: 6 books (completed) - The Rise and Fall: 3 books (completed) - After the Fall: 3 books (1 released, 2 in development) - The Cycle: 5 books (3.5 written, first book releasing in 2028) - The Elan Compendium & The Elan Short Story Anthology NOTE: While this story can be read as a standalone tale, there are references to prior events that would be considered spoilers for those who havent read The Death of Dulgath (Book #3 of the Riyria Chronicles) as well as the Legends of the First Empire series. So if you want to experience the entire saga, do not read this story until you finish those prerequisites.©2015 Riyria Enterprises, LLC (P)2026 Riyria Enterprises, LLC Action & Adventure Epic Fantasy
