    Very Enjoyable

    I very much enjoyed this spy thriller. Alan McDermott really created a tremendous story and Andy Stevenson brought it to life.
    Highly recommend.

    Great Ending!!

    This was a great story! The narrator was awesome too! It flowed good and kept my attention. I never would have guessed several things that came out throughout the story. It was a great ending too! I did need to watch the language a bit around my kids, but I knew that going into it. Even so, I found time to listen and loved it!

    Deadly Spies

    An unknown threat of gargantuan proportions. A betrayal of the worst kind. A brilliantly crafted & written story. Superb in all respects. Un-put-down-able. Alan McDermott is a Master storyteller.

    Great characters, cool twists

    Disclaimer: I received this Audible book for free from the narrator, but, I will gladly pay for any and all sequels, even though this is not a genre that I usually listen to.

    I was drawn into the story and the characters and listened to the entire book in one evening at work. The writing was smart and kept up a great pace. Characters were very likable (or very contemptible.) There were some great twists. The basic premise alone added a very unique twist to a possible global threat. (That’s as close to a spoiler that I will give.)

    The narration had to be a nightmare to keep straight with all of the different Russian and British characters, but it was handled perfectly. Each character was distinct and convincing.

    I have a feeling I will be listening to this again, and probably more than once.

    Definitely worth buying. I am actually going to use this months credits for a couple more books by this author/narrator team.

    Standard Spy Thriller

    An entertaining derivative of a standard espionage story coming out of an autocratic Russia … with hints at current affairs (e.g the invasion of Ukraine). The excellent narration makes the fairly predictable story worth a listen … which leans heavily on nominally competent professionals and the typically thrill of “the hunt.” Some of the characters seemed a tad “over the top” but still within my ability to “suspend disbelief” enough to enjoy the story (just like most of that comes out of Hollywood for this genre). So just relax and enjoy the ride …
