Much much better than the movie.
I couldn't help clapping at the end of it. Great. It was quite enjoyable and surprising.

Boring. Reparative. Shallow.
Getting boring real fast.
All the heroine is obsessed with , and think about or do is shopping. Nothing more.
Assumed shopping would be a part of the book but not all of it.
If you are looking for a narrative - this is not the book for you.
Nothing really happens except from a few chapters at the end of the book.
Also the heroine gets real annoying real fast.
Had a very hard time finishing this book.
Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Don't expect this to be as charming as the movie
Unlike a lot of reviewers, I actually prefer the movie over the book in many ways. Rebecca's character is a lot more likeable in the movie thanks to Isla Fisher performance.
It's still a decent chick lit book but dont expect it to be as charming as the movie. Rebecca didnt really learn a whole lot by the end of the book.

Painfully shallow and predictable
I generally enjoy chicklits as some light entertainment but this book just made angry. The main character is so shallow and stupid that I had to stop listening.

Irgendwie zu typisch
Also mir ist das Buch zu klischeehaft! Die Protagonistin von 22 Jahren ist nicht in der Lage mit Geld umzugehen. Traurig! Klar erkennt man sich an manchen Stellen wieder, dass man Wege für ein paar Schuhe o.ä. zurücklegen würde, aber spätestens wenn die Bank zig Briefe schickt und anruft, müssen die Alarmglocken klingeln und man besinnt sich eines Besseren und kauft den Mantel eben nicht. Schließlich ist es ja nicht so, dass man keinen mehr hat. Die Sprecherin wirkt auf mich nicht authentisch. Ich habe sogar das Gefühl gehabt, sie würde nie wie die Protagonistin agieren.

Tolle Sprecherin, miserable Geschichte
Die Protagonistin ist dermaßen dämlich, dass ich mich während des Hörbuches ärgern musste. Ich habe es zu Ende gehört wegen des angenehmen Englisch
