In 1932, in the midst of the political machines that had a stranglehold on the nation's power, an Oklahoma singer songwriter emerges as a local hero who captures the heart of rural America with his humor, wit and wisdom and irreverent takes on politics. Puzzled by who to trust, his life, his career, and his values are put in the crucible. The wrong answer might cost him everything. But is there a right answer?
