    Description

What are the core elements that allow top performers to achieve success repeatedly?

One clear, positive thought can set a goal in bedrock or trigger peak performance.

Study three easy fundamentals and make them a habit, and you have a recipe for sustained success no matter what hurdles life throws at you.

This is a story of a small boy, scared and alone in the world, who ran away from home at 16, overcame numerous hostile environments to pursue his dream to become a Navy SEAL, and eventually became the naval special warfare sniper course manager (head) instructor. The lessons learned along the way were powerful.

When I was part of the sniper instructor cadre, we studied the habits of champions and top performers. Then we applied them to our course curriculum and students. The results were incredible and undeniable.

    The power of thought works.

Save your money and buy his full book

This is simply a highlights reel of red circle. He recounts the stories from that book nearly verbatim.

If you have read the red circle, then don't buy.

It's pretty much a rehash of the red circle. Brandon does come in and give personal word on the book, but you honestly don't have to bother.

    Distasteful

I appreciate the message of having a strong mind. But it seemed more like a sore loser in life, trying to prove a point to his past bullies, his determination to prove them wrong certainly took him far. He points out having lower ranks wash his car and enjoying his high rank position in a arrogant manner, throughout the book he is constantly bashing officials/officers he has had to work around and deal with along his journey and to me that is very dishonorable and distasteful. I’m sure there are unfair things that go on but I don’t think this was

the way to go about shedding light on it, it seems more like a cry for attention. This was my first book by a seal after watching a speech by David Goggins and this book was nothing along those lines. I think as the author matures he will look back on this book and see his growth. It’s seems he has some things he needs to let go of.

    Not much meat here

I assume the book is well-intentioned, but it's:

    – Very short.
    – Despite its brevity, includes a rather big chunk from Red Circle, the author's bestseller.
    – Written in a weekend (according to the author himself) – aka not exactly a piece of art.
    – Poorly organized. There's no rhyme or reason to the structure. Don't expect a book like The 7 Habits (by Covey) with each habit neatly fit into a chapter. This book is more of a ramble. A mind dump.

All said. Yes, trust this and other reviews: you CAN skip this book;-)

    Sheesh

Great, proven advice. The things we say to ourselves strongly limit our performance in every aspect of our lives. Mr Webb reminds us how devastating this can be. He also happens to be a true American hero. Glad we have people like this on our side.

The reader is most likely a friend of the author. A hired vocal talent and effective orator was not employed for this... some sort of strong speech impediment (lateral lisp?) going on.

Nothing new here Real waste of time and $$

Warmed over boilerplate self help with “Look at me I was a Navy SEAL” thrown in.

    Awesome

Although there are, many Authors World over on Power of Positive Thinking and Subconscious mind etc

    But- this Author also had a Fresh approach and a very Different & direct way of telling it;
which is very effective and it definitely motivated me and made me more focussed.

    Think positive, not negative

The book was pretty much an extremely brief biography and mentions how thinking positive has helped his life. Literally me telling you, do positive visualization and positive self talk, covers the "power of thought" section of this book. The rest is excerpts from his previous book about his life.

    Achtung: Verwurstung alten Material
