In the aftermath of his son's death, TV reporter Ryan Bolt agrees to film a documentary about a lesser-known presidential contender. The assignment could salvage his damaged life and career, but soon he uncovers the candidate's mafia connections. Bolt doesn't know whom he truly serves, and by the time he finds out, it may already be too late—as the Mafia attempts to put a puppet leader in the White House. This political thriller is the fictional debut of Stephen J. Cannell, creator/co-creator of over forty television shows including Wiseguy and The Rockford Files.
