Narrated by:
From the world’s most celebrated—and controversial—pit bull breeder and trainer comes a raw, inspiring memoir about the power of love, family, and the unbreakable bond between man and dog.
Marlon Grennan, founder of Dark Dynasty K9s and the man behind internet legends like Hulk and Kong, has redefined what it means to be a dog trainer, amassing over 27 million followers and six billion video views worldwide. But behind the viral fame and jaw-dropping dogs lies a story few have heard: one of struggle, resilience, and redemption.
In The Pit Bull King, Grennan pulls back the curtain on his extraordinary life, sharing how his dogs became his salvation through battles with depression, loss, and the pressures of fame. With honesty and heart, he explores the misunderstood world of XL American Pit Bull Terriers, challenges stereotypes, and reveals the profound lessons his canine companions have taught him about loyalty, leadership, and healing.
More than a memoir for dog lovers, this is a story for anyone who’s ever felt like an outsider—and found strength in the most unexpected places. The Pit Bull King is a testament to the power of second chances, the importance of family (two- and four-legged), and the enduring hope that comes from forging your own path.
