Without going into spoilers : The main caracter Essun change drastically and it could have been well done but is never really adressed. The story becomes a drag in the middle and there arent enough fascinating reveals to carry the story. Too many sloppy info dumps and a pretty underwhelming ending.
A real shame, I really loved the first book and now am not even sure about reading the third one...
The narrator Robin Miles is still top notch, nice voice and good intonations/accents.
