Twenty-two year old Maris has a bright future ahead after receiving acceptance into the college of her dreams, leaving her protective brother Luka and the small bar he manages in rural New York State behind. However, her life takes a profound turn when a stranger attacks and bites her, activating dormant werewolf traits she had no idea existed.

As she flees home and uncovers her newfound abilities in a world completely hidden from her, Maris discovers Luka is the Bestial, an ultra-powerful werewolf who operates outside the law to take down criminals despite the Wolf Council’s objections.
