The creatures were in a rut.
The tiny monster was tired of being mistaken for a booger — and being eaten by kids!
The punk-rock cashier was mired in small-town blues — and surrounded by country music!
And the old grouch was annoyed with everything — and everyone! With good reason!
"Just look around!" it often thought. "The world is rotten!" Indeed, it was.
Humanity, they agreed, was disgusting.
Pursued by a maniacal booger eater, tired of their lives and in need of a change, the newly acquainted creatures ride on a scooter to a city in the mountains, in search of a world that doesn’t exist — and discover a world they can live in.
Funny, full of heart, and occasionally disgusting, "The Monster That Looked Like a Booger" is a story about a sad old monster discovering its true self in this mad, rotten, and sometimes beautiful world.
