Narrator Erin Mallon performs this murder mystery well, her dramatic, almost whispery voice, compounding the story's drama. The audiobook is full of compelling, everyday detail about the lives of people and their dogs, but also has unexpected encounters with the world of mysticism and the occult. Both dog lovers and mystery lovers will enjoy the exiting narration.
