    Description

    There's something in the woods....

When friends join ex-soldier Jonah on a European vacation, they discover that the beautiful German town where he was once stationed is now completely vacant. But the strangeness doesn’t end there. One of their group falls into a coma, another sees a strange creature, and large mounds of dirt appear everywhere.

Before they can determine just what is happening, Jonah realizes that something very deadly is watching from the shadows, waiting to hunt them. The pleasant vacation turns into absolute terror as Jonah and his friends struggle to survive.

But what they stumble across in the depths of an abandoned military base threatens not only their lives, but also all of mankind.

    Couldn’t finish it...

I tried but I just couldn’t finish it. The characters are well designed but the story just didn’t do it for me. Maybe it’s just me though. Some parts of it were good but most of it wasn’t interesting.

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review

    What a story!

Jonah an ex military man from America invites all his dysfunctional friends to go back with him to Germany to places he visited and wanted to visit while they are with the military. On their second day there they take a day trip to Berlin at least that was their intentions. Driving down the road they see a bunch of crazed men who just don’t act like normal people do and looking back to stare at them a little longer Jonah over corrects in the van tumbles and he passes out. When he’ll win He wakes up everyone is OK except for Daisy. She is unconscious but otherwise not hurt and their friend Gil says right before she passed out he seen some type of animal on her neck. In the prologue it tells you that there was something in a cocoon that attacked a man on a walkabout who later on after awakening gets a ride from a stranger while on this ride his skin splits yes splits in half in the monster underneath attacks the driver and then chapter 1 starts and this happens. As the story goes on Jonah will lose friends and gang friends son he doesn’t want and he will be faced with a situation she has never seen before in his life, but must depend on what was ingrained in him in the military to survive. Everything is going crazy they are taking people and they say it’s for their own benefit, But Jonah doesn’t trust it so he takes his trusted group of friends and tries to survive the best he can. This book is so crazy and so good and although I thought the narrator did great speaking in German, I thought he could’ve did better with the voices but once you keep listening you get used to it and he doesn’t have an unpleasant voice that is why I gave him four stars. All three books a very interesting it only took me a few days to read all of them. I highly recommend this I’m not a big fan of world extinction books are left on earth survivors, but this one I found very interesting and as I said I highly recommend it.
