    Fantastic and mindful

    Great introduction to mindfulness

    Having used the headspace app for the better part of the past 5 years or so, it was entertaining to hear some of the stories from founder Addy, and it was interesting to hear where certain techniques used in the app are coming from. This book has deepened my understanding, although I’ve been meditating for quite some years already. I’ll probably listen to this audiobook another time in the future as only repetition of anything can lead to mastery. If you’re very experienced in meditation, then this book might not be for you, but for anyone having no, little or intermediate experience it can help enrich your practice.

    Loved every bit of it!!

    An amazing book on Meditation. Andy amazingly explains the WHY behind meditation and the importance with his interesting incidents and events!

    Enjoyed every bit and I would recommend this book to anyone who wish to simply learn meditation without any confusion or jargons.

    Also, the book helps you to refine your perspective about everyday life with a simple 10 minute meditation everyday and a mindful life with mindfulness techniques for your daily activities.

    Headspace is great so as this book.

    This audiobook was great. The book guided me to throw meditation, and the stories of Andy or other people in the book was indeed and educational.

    Simple and Accesible

    The form of the book is understandable and is good for beginning with meditation without needing any religious explanations. It's also good companion to Headspace app, because some exercises and attitudes are more explained and in one place. Also Andy's sort of sweet voice is pleasing in the narrative.

    Bereichernd

    Ein sehr gelungenes und inspirierendes Hörbuch. Meditiere selbst täglich, seit ich begonnen habe das Buch zu hören und ziehe sehr viel Positives daraus. Ich würde es jedem empfehlen, der offen ist Neues auszuprobieren.

    Nice

    Great book for starters and rookies. Andy really knows what he is talking about and understands pretty well how to convey this knowledge well. It helped my a lot a guidance, which have accumulated with me, after 3 years of independent meditation. I will definitely recommend this book to others.

    nice introduction?

    In my opinion, this book may serve as a nice introduction into mindfulness, but I found it too shallow to benefit from it. The key points could be summarized in a 10 minute presentation.
    Further, I found the promotion of the author's website and app very annoying.
