Hawk cuts short his Hawaiian pleasure-seeking to avenge the death of an old friend killed by the Chinese Mafia.
Calling themselves The Way - and led by the ruthless modern-day mandarin, Lee Chong - they are an assassination away from total control of the islands. But Hawk puts himself in their way, and takes a first-class trip through Hawaii’s explosive underworld - with a hot-as-lava lady cop to guide him.

Michael Hawk has been around the world looking for trouble, but on a Hawaiian vacation where he thought he would get away from it all trouble finds him.
Chris Sorensen, recipient of multiple awards for his audiobook narration, brings Dan Streib's adventure hero to life. Shifting voices and pacing, Streib (and Sorensen) provide listeners with an adventure of their own, one filled with danger and sex as one man - with the help of a seductive policewoman - battles the attempt of a criminal gang led by a ruthless modern mandarin to succeed in moving from underworld to overlords of the "Paradise of the Pacific".
