À propos de ce contenu audio

When I considered writing a book on conquering my fears, the first thing that came to mind was The Girl Who Doesn't Go on roller coasters because I thought roller coasters felt the scariest of all—actually, the closest torture to actively dying. On a roller coaster, you are completely out of control. You want to stop and get off mid-ride but are constrained until the ride ends, which can feel like forever.

People who don’t go on rollers get each other. It was not until I started actively focusing on conquering fears as a mission that I discovered that not only do we non-riders have fears, but everyone has some kind of fear. If you’re reading this, I’ll bet that means you, too.

Over time, I’ve learned that if I—someone who gets spooked by her own shadow—can conquer different fears and anxieties while gaining confidence and courage in the process, anyone can. In this audiobook, I’ll share stories of skydiving to scuba diving thirty meters down around a wrecked ship to other everyday kinds of fears, all of which can feel like obstacles that can interfere with us living our best life. Until today.

Join me in saying goodbye to your comfort zone, but doing so in an anxiety-free way. Well, mostly : )

Are you up for the ride?
