We follow a guy named Josh during a year of transition, at the beginning of which he gets dumped by his longtime girlfriend and is at a complete loss about which direction his life is supposed to go. He decides to flip a coin everytime he comes at a crossroad, to the dismay of his two best friends.
I have nothing to say about Josh's growth and personal journey, because I think it was done in a realistic (albeit comedic) way. The big flaw of this novel, however, appears to lie with its romcom side. I think it was a little too far-fetched and I was a bit over it by the end of the book... It's not bad per se, but it is something I could have done without, which is an odd thing to say about a romance novel. I still liked it, but I didn't love it, is what I'm trying to say.
