I'm pretty sure the narration was by a computer.

I've read this before and know it's a fantastic story, but... I'm pretty sure the narration was a computer. it was awful and made the story seem awful.

    Narration killed it for me.

I listen to audibles on my 20 minute drive to and from work each day and relish in losing myself (but not my concentration on the road) in a good story.

I've not read much Poe, and sadly, could not get through this short, short story with likely just 10 minutes left.

The narration was completely devoid of any emotion and sounded much more like a computer voice giving instructions on how to build a dollhouse than any dark and mysterious story written by the great Mr. Poe.

Not a fan of writing negative reviews, and this review is only based on the narration.

    Poe, man. Poe.

    Poe, man. Poe.

A classic dark gothic short that is much deeper than its word count.
