Description
Richly imaginative, this fantasy will take you to the brink of the end of the world as gods fight demons and monsters for the right to rule - and their lives.
While most continents float freely on the face of Mother Sea, the Land of Dhrall survives anchored by the will of the gods. All gods, elder and younger, share the people and the land of Dhrall equally. But the one place they never enter is The Wasteland: a barren and hideous wilderness ruled by the Vlagh - a god-like creature whose young are evil spawn.
Now, as the elder gods are about to transfer their power to the younger gods, the Vlagh plans to take advantage of their weakened state and neutralize them, eventually conquering the world. To do so, it is breeding a terrible force borne of monsters and demons.
But one ray of hope shines through the darkness: four children called the Dreamers. They alone hold the power to change the course of history...and stop the Vlagh in its quest for total world domination.

I love it.
I really hope the rest of the series will be available soon. The Dreamers series is one of the reasons I joined Audible to begin with.

David Eddings = the Best Fantasy Author Ever to Me
David and Leigh Have been one of my all time favorite authors sense high school. Their book series The Belgariad were the first novels to inspire a love of reading in me. This series was the last ever written before David Eddings death. To be honest I've never been able to finish the series. I get half way through book four and can't bring myself to finish it. The magic the these authors inspired in the young me... I hope the other 3 books in this series go up on Audible soon! I think it's finally time I finish this story, as heartbreaking as it will be to let go. #Inspirational #FavoriteAuthor #FantasyEpic #BestBook #Tagsgiving #Sweepstakes

The book was well written, but the narrator made the book come alive!
I have read this book before, I have two young children so listening to books is my only option.
I have read this book and thought it was well written. But to have it read to me by this narrator made this book so much better!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I hope this narrator narrates the next 3 books of this series! Please make that happen!
Thank you again for an enjoyable book with great narration!

Good Fantasy
I enjoyed the book, it is one I picked up physically when I was a kid but never finished. it is just a little to by the numbers and simple things seem like revelations to the characters. That being said, I still enjoyed the world and characters That Eddings created.

Repetitive - plot was basic
This is a basic plot that is very repetitive. There is no hook for the listener in this book. The characters are rather bland and have little personality. I also feel Eddings is stealing characters from his other books to try and make this 'likeable'. AS a huge fan of the Belgariad and Mallorean... There just isn't anything here.

Great
Slow start, but a great book. The music was unnecessary and annoying. Almost as good as the Pawn of Prophecy.

John Lee as the Storyteller
Sorry but John Lee is not a very good storyteller, there is no feeling and the craters have all the same voice
