In this fast-paced sequel to The Haze, international best-selling author Jack Hunt brings a terrifying scenario to life.
The worst isn’t dying from it but surviving.
Almost three years after a deadly biological event killed millions, Alice carves out a life with an isolated community of survivors on a fortified island in New York.
But just as quickly as the Haze spread, so has news of her rare blood type placing a target on her back.
Now someone has come to collect.
When tragedy strikes, Jonah and her daughter must face the terrors of the outside world to find her.
Forced to venture into the concrete jungle, they quickly realize the Haze isn’t the only threat that lurks beyond the island.
Cut off from help and unaware of the danger ahead, Alice soon learns no one can be trusted, and someone believed to be dead may still be alive.
