    A heart warming intercultural and inter generational tale

    This story draws you into the history and culture of two families who are thrown together by the main character of the story - Nora W. The intertwining of their stories and the very moving accounts of love and loss through wars spanning the 20th and 21st centuries make for riveting and entertaining reading. Cate’s writing draws you into the family feuds, the cultural misunderstandings and the big characters all battling for their own way of doing things. There are deeply touching parts which give the novel depth and will touch every reader’s heart.
