J'ai lu et relu plusieurs fois cet ouvrage tant en anglais que dans sa traduction française. J'en sors à chaque fois bouleversé.
Nous avons tous lu des ouvrages relatifs à la bataille de l'Atlantique, mais aucun ne pouvait nous la faire vivre de l'intérieur avec une telle intensité dans toute son horreur et ses péripéties.
Le style précis et efficace est bien servi par cette diction parfaite.
L'un des ouvrages majeur de la littérature maritime !
