The Couriers is a true memoir set during the Cold War, when faith and access to Scripture were heavily restricted throughout parts of Eastern Europe. This powerful account follows the quiet but dangerous work of individuals who transported Bibles and Christian literature across guarded borders into countries where religious materials were scarce and closely monitored.
Through tense border crossings, underground church meetings, and personal encounters with believers living under government control, the story reveals the courage of ordinary people who risked interrogation, confiscation, and imprisonment to ensure that others could read and share the Word of God. The routes were uncertain, the risks were real, and every journey required faith as much as planning.
More than a story about smuggling books, The Couriers is a testimony of conviction, perseverance, and the enduring human desire for spiritual freedom. It offers listeners a glimpse into a world where belief carried a cost—and where courage often moved quietly, one border crossing at a time.
