Description
Meet William Butcher a.k.a. The Butcher, former Navy SEAL, now a disgraced ex-NCIS agent.
Those who stole $9 billion in cash from Iraq want him dead. The cops want him for murder. Butcher's only hope is his former NCIS colleague and closest friend Linus Schag.
Together, Schag and Butcher tear away the veil of conspiracy, uncovering a criminal enterprise reaching into the highest levels of government.
Ripped from today's headlines, this sequel to Martin Roy Hill's highly praised The Killing Depths takes the listener from the California mountains to the coastal waters of the Pacific into the dangerous world of war profiteers and international mercenaries and is guaranteed to keep listeners on edge until its final, explosive climax.
"Those who like their thrillers gritty and charged with unpredictable twists will relish the different directions chosen by Bill and his friend in this engrossing saga..." (D. Donovan, Midwest Book Review)

Electrifying Thriller
I enjoyed this story. Martin Roy Hill has written a story with compelling action. The characters were memorable. The conclusion was tense and surprising. I recommend this story to others who enjoy this genre. Brian Dullaghan's narration was fine and entertaining. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

An Awesome Listen
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request, and have voluntarily left this review. I really enjoyed this book. It is suspense filled and fast paced with lots for action. But what else would you expect when Linus Schag name is written in blood and his presence is requested. Navy and local police cannot track down the killer, only Linus, an old friend, has any chance in this conspiracy. I'll have to check out the first book of this series, this one was hard to turn off.
