THE PERFECT FAMILY  

Sheila O'Rourke has always known her husband isn't perfect. Who is? But things have been better since they moved to Seattle to make a fresh start. So much so that when 16-year-old Eden turns up, claiming to be Dylan's child by another woman, Sheila tries to be welcoming.

At first, Sheila feels sympathy for the girl. Eden's mother recently fell to her death in an incident with unsettling parallels to Sheila's past. Still, Eden is a difficult house guest, sowing discord among the family. Sheila has already been on edge for weeks, receiving anonymous texts, noticing odd noises coming from the house next door. And that's just the start.

Opening 20 mins I was debating turning it off as I really wasn’t enjoying the narration but the plot got thicker and better and I ended up enjoying the book

Never a dull moment. You know something is up but can't really put your finger on what it is. Twists and turns but never "out there". Really enjoyed it all the way through !

Once I started to listened, I could not stop.
The story is unbelievable: poor women and what of a jerk her husband is...

Sometimes the web of lies is so big that you get lost in it, nothing is perfect as it seems! Every family as is secrets but ,sometimes the secrets are too big to hide, a husband that have a lot love to give, to other women and a wife that is complacent with is betraying. Very well written
