Histoire
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

Based on the testimony of some 200 survivors, and on the recollection of Solzhenitsyn's own 11 years in labour camps and exile, it chronicles the story of those at the heart of the Soviet Union who opposed Stalin, and for whom the key to survival lay not in hope but in despair.

"GET SOME"
- Écrit par : Adelmand K. le 14/03/2020
Description
The timeless original text; required listening for anyone interested in strategy. This is a work of subtlety and paradox that shows the way to a clean and aesthetic triumph. Sun Tzu insisted that a skilled warrior observes, calculates, outwits, and outmaneuvers an adversary, and in doing so averts the destruction of battle.
Includes a soundtrack entitled "The Mysterious Sound of Wind in the Bamboo", a 43-minute 14-track collection of Zen-inspired Japanese music by the Matsu Take Ensemble.

I thought 2 hours would be a more comprehensive look at the art of war, but no it's not that. The other half is an hour/longer zen soundtrack with most of the tracks sounding alike eventually.

Interesting things to meditate
The actual book part is only about an hour in length and is quite concise and pointed. Easy to listen to and comprehend. Yet hard to master in all areas at once. The strategies within are also fairly simple to translate into everyday living. The second half of the audio is music to enjoy as you begin to ponder what you've just heard. A nice little treat.
