A wonderful introduction to Python this audiobook
I would definitely recommend this to individuals that already have a basic (or better) understanding of programming in another language and would like to learn Python. I would not recommend this as an introduction to both Python and programming in general. The text is clear, coherent, and the concepts are well explained. Seasoned programmers seeking solely to learn Python will likely need to skim sections that contain descriptions of basic programming concepts but will still find utility in the majority of the text.

A useful companion to have at your side.
This audiobook is a long journey, but well worth the 1500+ pages of intrinsically laid out information. The O'Reilly series is pricey, but worth the investment and time; I read several of these while obtaining my associate's degree. For students who are intimidated by the size of the audiobook, it is well worth diving into and following every lesson; your skills will increase exponentially.

A great tool for achieving Python programming
I am new to Python, but my company uses it in many of our products. Since I provide support for those products, I feel compelled to learn Python thoroughly, even though my support role does not require any programming expertise.

Really Good Overall, But Long-Winded
The audiobook's layout, pace, instructions, and examples are great overall. However, to be the author's narrating style seems unnecessarily wordy, colloquial, and repetitive. Since the material is meant to be a tutorial for coding, a slightly more concise and succinct narrative would improve the audiobook's readability.

Incredibly detailed, thorough, but not a quick
I am a scientist and use computational tools as part of my research. As part of that, I've had some programming experience in C, C++, Python, Perl, and others. However, I did not have much training in programming other than 'on the job' learning. As python was becoming a larger portion of my daily work, I wanted to really learn how to use it to better understand the programs I was running and modifying.

Fun and Easy way to learn Python
My husband bought this for me. I love the bite-size information and small projects that I can digest and work with easily. A non-programmer like me can understand the projects without feeling intimidated. I am sure I can use the small art projects to get started on my own graphics. Being a Visual Designer, I can see great value in creating my own variations of shapes and graphics quickly

A great resource for learning Python!
Learning to code is like learning a new language and this audiobook is a great resource for learning Python. It is a wonderfully narrate audiobook that is easy to follow for any age. It gets you starting to code right away as you learn relevant terms and how to apply them. The author makes you aware of errors that can occur and how to address them. The audiobook inspires you to be creative as you are building different projects

Unique projects to learn Python
This is a great project-oriented way to learn the basics of Python. The first thing you should note is that this is not a book for getting into the beginner's details of logic, theory, or fundamentals of coding. This audiobook is a fun way to get beginners intrigued by coding by using fun and interesting projects that might pique their interest, because that's (arguably) more important at a younger age.

Great Python introduction for kids and adults
What I like best about this audiobook is that the approach is to build a useful project, and use it to introduce programming concepts. Starting in chapter 1, we build a simple chatbot and use it to introduce important concepts such as variables, input, printing and commenting the code. All the other introductory material I’ve come across starts with abstract programming concepts

Python Coding That Will Stick
As a computer science teacher, I have found that many of the coding audiobooks available for tweens and teens do not lead to long term learning of a programming language. These audiobooks typically have lots and lots of code that the reader uses to create projects, but the reader is often not learning the concepts behind the code and they are not able to transfer anything they have done to a new programming project.
