À propos de ce contenu audio

An intriguing invitation, and a deadly trap for Sherlock and Lucy.

October 1902: An intriguing invitation from H. G. Wells brings Dr. Watson face to face with a man who claims to be a time traveler from ancient Rome. The 'time traveler' wants to change history and seeks Watson's help. Skeptical, Watson dismisses him, and he vanishes in a blinding flash of light. But when the light fades, Watson and Wells make a shocking discovery.

Holmes travels to Dover to investigate, even though he's fully engaged in tracking a stolen submarine. The clues aren't definitive, but Wells, though protesting his innocence, is soon arrested for murder. When another murder occurs, Holmes realizes the stakes are sky-high. The Baker Street team must uncover the truth before a ruthless killer alters history forever.

Join beloved duos Holmes and Watson, Flynn and Becky, Lucy and Jack—even Gregson and Amy—as they risk everything to save their nation. Fans of Conan Doyle, Lee Child, Agatha Christie, and fast-paced historical mysteries will love this thrilling adventure, and all the others in this completely bingeable series.

Embark on this unforgettable journey with the Baker Street team!

Narrated by the acclaimed British actors Iona Campbell and Dallin Bradford

Charles Veley writes very convincingly in the Conan Doyle style. Once again, this is mostly set in pre-World War 1 London and involves dastardly plots by persons unknown, thought to be linked to the Kaiser's Germany. The story is well-paced and told in several voices. Holmes himself, while certainly present, delegates a large proportion of the action to his daughter Lucy and other members of the 'cast'. Has Dr. Watson seen evidence of a time machine in H G Wells' garden? We shall see!
