Penguin presents the audiobook edition of Tales from Moominvalley by Tove Jansson, read by Hugh Dennis.

If you haven't met a Moomin yet, you're in for the most magical fun!

If you found a tiny golden dragon with green paws, would you know what to do with it?
Well, Moomintroll thinks he knows what to do. But when he takes his new-found pet home, things don't quite work out as planned!

Here is a delightful collection of stories in which Moomintroll meets some new characters such as the Fillyjonk and the Hattifatteners, as well as sharing adventures with old friends, namely Snufkin and Little My.

Reviews

I have long been a passionate Moomin appreciator - it's not just Tove Jansson's wonderfully strange fairytale world that so appeals but also her beautiful line work and exquisite sense of design (Lauren Child)

The Moomin books are a godsend during those dark times, and Tales from Moominvalley is my personal favorite, with its short tales filled with humor and optimism. From the nervous wreck waiting for a disaster that never happens, to the introvert desperate for some alone time, they also grandly resonate with our adult problems! Hugh Dennis's narration is absolutely perfect, especially his delightful Little My, and the discreet sound and music effects are by far the best I've heard yet. Couldn't recommend more!

An absolute delight!
