In most of the spicy books I've read/heard, there is a kind of consent or at least no purposeful violence and harm. The MMC is romanticized after forcefully and violently raping the MFC...why? Because of his dick/prowess in bed. The MFC is terrified of him and he forces himself on her because of his physical superiority and puts a gun to her head to subdue her. After that and saying it hurt her, she's not a masochist and then "the pain melts into pleasure" this is a trauma response. The MFC is portrayed as powerless but intelligent but she is neither since she she doesn't use the obvious solutions she has. It was hard to listen to.
These are the kinds of idea on which abusers, narcissists and rapist build their logic. The MMC removes all the control from the MFC (financial etc. threatens her life repeatedly, is physically violent etc.)
Getting wet does not mean consent, or any men sporting a hard on would be fair game to anyone interested. it's ridiculous and dangerous.
All of this and I'm still at hard of the book. This kind of book is dangerous because it portrays violence, cruelty, mental games, rape as sexy! why? because he has abs and a good dick...dangerous i tell you
