My opinion

this is a great book for conquering fear for pregnancy and during labor. i love many of the prayers and emphasis that we can call on God and His power in this life. i believe in the power of prayer and trusting in God.

It does not offer the best explanations or theology and can be misleading and "Biblically" illogical, but great truths mixed in it.

unfortunately i can not offer a better alternative. so if you are scared or struggling that you can have a good birthing experiancing, read it. (or get pregnant.)

Sometimes people understand the right principal for the wrong reason. A lot of inaccurate interpretations, misapplied scriptures, or out right error in this book. it needs updated to the current revelation in the body, science, and be more scripturally founded. The testimonies are not to be used as doctrines of how God works or limited to who He is. take them for anecdotal life experiances, do not put faith in their explanations as proof for a doctrine. put faith in true principals from the Word of God. never put doctine above God or His Word. sometimes the doctrine matches the experianced end result expected as stated scripturally but without agreeing on the Biblical reason or process to get there.

What a new way to look at birth!!

This book really opened my eyes to using my God given faith to have a baby with His supernatural strength. I love how she refers to scripture and truth throughout the whole thing! I'm currently 20 weeks pregnant and with this resource and God, I plan on following the tips to give birth to our baby boy! It's worth the read.

Life changing book

I read this book during my first pregnancy and it helped me to focus on God and made my faith in Him grow. Because of God and the help from this book I had an unbelievable fast and painless delivery! Yes! It is possible!

A Must Read For Anyone Expecting A Miracle!

This is a powerful book to read if you desire to become pregnant. It is definitely inspired by the word of God! After 3 years of praying for a baby; a friend shared this book with me and in less than one year; God answered our prayer. It's all about what God said!

Name It & Claim It False Teaching

This book is ridiculous.. twisting scripture to give women a false hope. Also very negative towards homebirth. I’ve had four SAFE and successful homebirths. The author says that God doesn’t care where you give birth but also says that He will never tell you to have a home birth….ok?? 🤨 she also says that certain prayers are “too late” if prayed after conception but should be prayed before conception. Talk about limiting God and acting like she knows the mind of God. She lacks much spiritual wisdom.
She and her husband twist scripture to fit their narrative and put a false hope on women.
Trust in God during your pregnancy and birth- not these false teachers.

Worth Reading up to the End

It was great up until the end of the book when she says “God doesn’t care where you have your baby”… then it got weird. She spoke very mockingly about a first time mom in her church who thought she heard God’s voice to labor at home. She and her husband urged her to go to the hospital but she refused, and her husband “prophesied” over this woman saying her baby was too big to fit through the birthing canal. So this couple went to the hospital and ended up having a cesarean. She sounded like a Pharisee mocking this poor woman (another woman in her church!!!) saddest part was that she claims the woman didn’t know what to have faith for!!! then she says that “normal/faith filled” women can have pain free births but women who have “below average faith/not normal” cannot until they build their faith and she testifies that it took her three years and women should build this faith BEFORE conception!! Not encouraging to read when you know God has a pain free birth for you in store and you’re reading it in pregnancy!! After six chapters of beautiful birth stories and listening to God’s promises, it It just got real weird real fast.
Not once is there any mention of “Thy Will be Done” … I am confident that I will and many other women will go on to have pain free births because of our Faith (that won’t take 3 years to build!) but this is borderline prosperity gospel. Ladies, put your faith in God but resist striving for anything. That’s not peace. Do your part/Lean completely into Christ and surrender to his peace.

A compelling but unbiblical approach to childbirth

Be prepared to spend your entire pregnancy in a self-centered theology in order to escape pain, instead of preparing how to be a biblical mother to your child. This book is entirely based on Word of Faith theology... the "believe and receive", "name it and claim it", "blab it and grab it" mindset. It takes any scripture that might have to do with birthing and labor (and even ones that don't), rips those verses out of their context, and turns them into mantras. The goal is that on that important day when you go into labor, you will have spent months misinterpreting scripture and brainwashing yourself with enough mantras that you can hopefully psych yourself into having a painless delivery (something the Bible has never once promised). The author mistakenly interprets the death of Christ which sets us free from the power and punishment of sin, to mean that He has set us free from the curse in Genesis and that we ought not to have painful labor. If this were true, all saved women would stop having periods, and all saved men would no longer have to work for food. The word of God was written by a Holy God who intended for us to understand His words within their context... not for them to be abused and misused to support bad theology.

Awesome!

Supernatural Childbirth has really been such a blessing to me, listening to it everyday has really helped me to build and maintain my faith to receive my blessing. Will definitely add the last star when I'm holding my miracle babies in my arms :)
The style of reading is almost friendly, helping you to bond easily with the reader, the verses are awesome, the confessions are just great. Overall, I loved listening to it.

This is Audio book is a MUST listen, be ready to take notes

As a Bible believer Christian this audio will bless you in such a way, The Holy Spirit has given me so much peace and understanding of Gods promises and plans for my life according to the scripture, I’m 37 weeks pregnant and I heard about this book thanks to a girl from YouTube, I wasn’t expecting it was going to be a biblical based audio, I’m so grateful with God for putting this audio in my life so I can’t trust Him fully and get rid of my anxiety & fear… I’m in peace I know Jesus Christ is in control and will help me through a healthy painless delivery in His Mighty Name!
