Certainly entertaining
every other book I've listened to provides Nihil as Ny-Hill but this presenter pronounced it as Nile. Somehow this bothered me for the whole book....

it's fine
It really bugs me that it's not tagged to Star wars or Star wars The high Republic. didn't even know it existed till it was in my recommendation.
And the mispronunciation was a little annoying but overall good performance. recommend it if you've been listening to Star wars you'll like it.

terrible narrator
they must have had a deadline to get this published. the narrator couldn't pronounce 10% of the words and names. Star wars deserves better

I thought it was okay
I have to say this was not one of my favorites. I did not dislike it and thought it was an okay piece of the story but just not much happened and there was the stakes were low having already read Fallen Star.

Another excellent part to this series.
With only two to three POV characters, it works well. Another fine part to the High Republic project, or series, whatever youc all it.

Enjoyable
Short but enjoyable. The High Republic series has been a delight! I do recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Star Wars. The music and sound effects brought the story alive! Two thumbs up!

Very enjoyable & good character development
I have enjoyed The High Republic era of Star Wars. It is a breath of fresh air to the common themes of the galaxy, and quite an enjoyable ride. Given the age that this particular book is pointed at, as an adult listener, it was still very good for development & forward progress of the whole era.
If you are a completist, you will enjoy this book. If you want to give older adolescents, or teenagers and easy on-ramp into the Star Wars universe, this would also fit the bill as well.

Star Wars: The High Republic: Mission To Disaster
I enjoyed this Junior Novel in The High Republic Era. It features some better known characters in this Era and leads as a bit of a prologue to The Fallen Star.
Avon Starros get's captured by Nihil on a distant planet and Jedi Knight Vernestra Rwoh and her Padawan Imri Kantos find themselves on the hunt for their friend when they uncover a plot and conspiracy that stretches to the highest levels.
Although we mainly stay on one planet, the story stays interesting and although it's Junior Novel, grown-up Star Wars Books fans will also enjoy this story.
