Purely by chance, renowned author Mary Summer Rain met No-Eyes, a blind Chippewa visionary who lives in a small, remote cabin in the Colorado mountains. Spirit Song the first volume in Summer Rain's No-Eyes tetralogy, introduces us to this remarkable, unforgettable woman. No-Eyes teaches her about many fascinating topics, including the history of the Chippewa people, the songs of the shaman, and the healing power of medicinal herbs. Set against a vivid, beautiful, natural backdrop, Spirit Song is both an informative guide to an intriguing culture, and a touching story of an unexpectedly rich teacher-student relationship. The No-Eyes tetralogy also includes Pheonix Rising, Dreamwalker, and Phantoms Afoot.Copyright ©1985, 1993 by Mary Summer Rain; Recording (P)1997 by Alternative Audio Americas Other Religions, Practices & Sacred Texts Religious Social Sciences United States
