    Description

Are You Ready to Learn How to Configure & Operate Cisco Equipment? If So, You've Come to the Right Place - Regardless of How Little Experience You May Have!

If you're interested in social engineering and security, then you're going to want (or need!) to know and understand the way of the social engineer.

There's a ton of other guides out there that aren't clear and concise and, in my opinion, use far too much jargon. My job is to teach you in simple, easy-to-follow terms how to understand social engineering.

Here's a preview of what this social engineering book contain:

    • What is social engineering?
    • Basic psychological tactics
    • Social engineering tools
    • Pickup lines of social engineers
    • How to prevent and mitigate social engineering attacks
    • And much more!

Book is good, but sound quality is terrible

The material in the book was great. The book screeched every 20 seconds or so.

this book reads like a powerpoint presentation

This book presented a very basic introduction to aspects of current social engineering. The book is read like a high school introduction to social engineering 101 powerpoint presentation.

I came in with the expectation that the author would present empircal evidence base on the his own expirence as a professional to reinforce the topics being conveyed. I was left disappointed. I hope that future versions will incorporate case studies and analysis, and not spend an inordinant amount of time teaching me a lexacon many today already understand.

    Good introduction to social engineering

This book is like an entry level introduction to social engineering. It will get you thinking. If you have an interest in understanding social engineering then you will want to read more books after this one to build upon what this book introduces. The book is short, but it is all business for two hours. No fluff. No issue with it.

    Informative, but not very engaging

This book contains a lot of good, base-level information in one place. The downside of being purely informative is that it’s not an engaging read and is actually rather boring to listen to. Maybe this book is better suited for physical reading.

    Extreemely general information

The narrator was good, but there wasn't a lot of specific information. This book felt like a long winded introduction. It seems like all of the information was generalized without any factual backup.
