I was reluctant to start a new romantasy book series because I'm always afraid of being disappointed but boy was I mistaken... Everything works so well : the magical system is unique (I think), the world-building is intriguing, the characters are well-written, etc. The FMC's decisions have a real impact on the plot and we follow her reasoning, adding to the overall tension. The MMC and her have morally gray characters energy, it brings so much uncertainty to the story aaannnd I'm here for it. Right now, I feel like having to wait a few months to know what happens next is going to be unbearable. Omg, can't wait !
