This story is about a girl named Rose. She does not have powers or get kidnapped by trolls or discover a gold mine in her backyard. She does a whole lot of normal stuff, and I hope to show how much meaning there is in that “mundanity”. In sitting at the kitchen table with your family to share a meal. In hugging someone you love. In noticing the way grass feels or a willow tree bends. In talking. In crying. In laughing. In absolutely everything, if you look for it. In essence, this is narrated to remind you of the magic of opened eyes!
