Say Goodbye to Mr. Moon is a children's book that was created to teach the importance of not taking anything or anyone for granted.
Mr. Moon is a genuinely friendly chum who cares for people. Mr. Moon loves to show off his biggest, brightest smiles but only gets blank looks in return. Hurt by the dull response he receives; he grew tired of smiling only to be ignored each time.
He started to feel unappreciated and taken for granted by everyone in town. Boy, was he wrong!
