Could have been better.

I could not get drawn into this story because of the narration. Having a female narrator read the whole story just ruined it. The female narrator doing the female parts would have been quite convincing but this type of story really needs an excellent male narrator to pull you in and keep you interested. I read a lot of books by this author and enjoy most of them but since I joined audible escape I find the narration is so very important and is completely ruined with the wrong narration and sadly to say this is one such case. Reading a book is one thing but to take it to the next level with audio and the whole book changes. So let me just say the story is interesting but you need to read this book and stay away from audio to get the full impact of this book.

couldn't make it past chapter 2

The narrator speeds reads to the point where there's no emotion. I just sounds like a continuous run-on sentence, I couldn't even make it to an hour

wonderful story

wonderful characters and narrator and intriguing very emotional but nice to listen to romantic

Human trafficking, the Navy, and more

My first from this author. I love a good rescuer/ protector romance. This is a good narrator too. I was a bit wary after reading some of the reviews, and I see where they are coming from. The narrator does speak a bit quickly, but I feel it adds to the tension and suspense. Creates a feeling of urgency and danger. I liked that we got so much of our hero’s perspective. Plus, all the other perspectives. Man, some of these women..I’m all for equality but when you sign on to the military- female or male- you sign on to give respect and recognition to those in command above you. Good grief. Not everything is a gender issue.

I Love, love this story

I didn't have any issues getting through this story in one weekend because I just had to know what would happen next, on to book two now.

This was the winner a really good book I got into the story from the very beginning and it held my interest till the very end I’m looking forward to reading more books in the series I really loved it love the characters love the storyline great book

Pretty good story

This was a pretty good story. Very basic in the rescue damsale in distrest storyline... but I still like it.

Worth a sale or buy... Save your credit for something with a bit more action and drama.

Narration was pretty good.
