Description
Best-selling author Karen Kingsbury has been a RWA Rita finalist and Gold Medallion Award finalist. Sarah’s Song is book three in The Red Gloves Series. For years Sarah Lindeman, now in her 80s, has carried out a special tradition over the 12 days of Christmas. This year, Sarah notices a young nurse listening, and in her recognizes pain and longing. Narrator was awful!
Hearing the reader breath, swallow, and drink water is distracting from the story. It’s aggravating while trying to connect your heart with the joy in the story. I almost stopped listening and just bought the book.

Review
Any additional comments?
I like the story a lot. The only thing that was a little annoying is probably more personal preference, but the the narrator goal was to sound like the person telling her story which meant it sounded like her mouth was dry. She needed to take a sip of water about halfway through. Besides that I truly enjoyed the story.

Boring
This was the 3rd of this series I’ve listened to & found the overall story boring, especially the narration.
