Saponi is both the heartwarming and heartbreaking tale of two peoples with one cause. Saponi and colonists alike lived together in peace until the King’s Rangers show up and destroy tranquility. Come join The People of the Red Clay and a few determined colonials as they show us what makes our nation what it is today.
Saponi, while fiction, was written with breathtaking historical accuracy. This is a story of love, war, racism, and eventually togetherness. Anyone that has ever enjoyed listening and learning about Native American culture, the American Revolution, or Eastern North Carolina will thoroughly enjoy this piece. The Saponi is part of a larger set of historical fiction pieces called The Carolina series. I hope you all will follow along on all of these incredible journeys.
