Started out good
And just got better. The ending is a bit dramatic, but still very satisfying. The writers created a really fun story and Luke Daniels is a master as always. Can’t wait for book 3!!

Better connective tissue
This book has to have better connective tissue for the plot so you don’t feel as disjoined as book one. Looking forward to book 3 whenever it comes around

The MC
I don’t often leave reviews but I had to on this. The narrator is great as always but the MC in this story is unoriginal and gutless. I was intrigued by the first book in this series and hoped the MC would grow in his mindset, skills, and abilities but he never does. He remains unoriginal and lacks imagination in the way he uses his abilities. I am disappointed in how this progressed.

Main character
I don’t understand why this author refuses to ever just let the main character succeed as himself time and time again he shows that he’s bad ass but then always makes him lose it’s so stupid and ruins an otherwise great book
